C5 Lush Forest Camp | Forest Camping Near Johnson Hole

Unwind at C5 Lush Forest Camp, a camper favorite with multiple distinct tent areas in a leafy forest setting. Leveled spaces accommodate 3 or 4 medium-to-large tents plus a 10x10 canopy. This site is suited to tent and hammock camping rather than pop-up trailers.

Gather around the 3-foot steel fire ring with slabwood bench seating for relaxed evenings and campfire stories. The flat terrain and surrounding trees offer plenty of hammock possibilities. A designated parking spot and maintained access road make arrival convenient. Bring your own camping equipment.

Located in Sector C, the site is part of a cluster of five forest sites close to the camp beach and the main swimming area at Johnson Hole. Spend your days exploring the shoreline or enjoying the river when conditions allow.

More river access points lie upstream and downstream, within a walk, bike ride, or short drive. The scenic road continues about 2.5 miles past camp, with forest and river views along the way. The Hendricks swinging bridge, a pedestrian suspension bridge across the river, is about half a mile toward town and leads to additional swimming and tubing spots.

The base rate includes 4 guests. Maximum occupancy is 8, including children, regardless of the number of tents. Additional guests above 4 are $7.50 per person per night. For larger groups, reserve additional nearby sites.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
