$48-60/nightBring your group to the banks of the Dry Fork River at RF2, a grassy campsite beside Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Campground’s main beach. Trees provide a backdrop, the river stretches out in front, and the beach is just steps away.
SPACE TO GATHER
RF2 has room for multiple tents and space to set up your own 10 × 10 canopy. Enjoy a large picnic table, a 3-foot steel fire ring with two slabwood benches, and additional chairs. A trail leads down from the main road, with nearby parking for several vehicles. Bring your own tents and camping equipment.
RIGHT BESIDE THE BEACH
The site sits to the left of the shared main beach area. It is less private than our secluded sites, but convenient for families and groups who want to be close to the swimming and beach activities. Nearby shoreline, a normally dry river section, and a large island offer places to explore and fish when conditions permit. Water levels and river access vary with weather.
GROUP PRICING
The base rate includes 10 guests. Each additional guest costs $7.50 per night. For larger groups, consider reserving nearby campsites as well.
EXPLORE THE AREA
Discover nearby river access points on foot, by bike, or by car. The scenic forest road continues about 2.5 miles beyond camp. About half a mile toward town, the Hendricks pedestrian suspension bridge crosses the river, with more swimming and tubing spots nearby.
IMPORTANT FLOOD NOTICE
RF2 is in the river floodplain and is subject to flooding and flash flooding, particularly during heavy rain, spring snowmelt, and tropical storms. The campsite may close when dangerous conditions are expected. If we close the site for this reason, you will be notified and your campsite fees refunded.
Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
