RF3 Group Riverfront Camp RF3 — Riverfront Tent & Hammock Campsite

Wake up beside the Dry Fork River at RF3, a sandy and rocky riverfront campsite adjoining the right side of Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Campground’s shared main beach. Trees form a backdrop, with shoreline and beach activities close at hand.

YOUR CAMPSITE
This narrower site is best suited to one medium tent plus a couple of small tents and/or hammocks. Enjoy a picnic table, a 3-foot steel fire ring with benches, and additional chairs. A trail leads down from the main road, with parking nearby along the road shoulder for several vehicles. Bring your own tents, hammocks, and camping equipment. For more tent space, consider RF2.

RIVER & BEACH ACCESS
RF3 is less private than our secluded campsites but offers direct access to the adjoining main beach. Explore the sandy and rocky shoreline, fish, or enjoy swimming when conditions permit. River conditions and water levels vary with weather.

GROUP SIZE & PRICING
The base rate includes 6 guests. Each additional guest costs $7.50 per night, up to a maximum of 8 guests total, including children. Tent space is limited, so plan your equipment accordingly. Larger groups must reserve additional nearby campsites or cabins.

EXPLORE THE AREA
Nearby river access points can be reached on foot, by bike, or by car. The scenic forest road continues about 2.5 miles beyond camp. About half a mile toward town, the Hendricks pedestrian suspension bridge crosses the river, with more swimming and tubing spots nearby.

IMPORTANT FLOOD NOTICE
RF3 is in the river floodplain and is especially subject to recurring flood damage after heavy rain. Flooding and flash flooding can occur during heavy rain, spring snowmelt, and tropical storms. The campsite may close when dangerous conditions are expected. If we close the site for this reason, you will be notified and your campsite fees refunded.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
