$48-60/nightGather your favorite people for a peaceful escape beside the Dry Fork River. RF1 is a secluded, forested group campsite at Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Campground, with room for multiple tents and space to set up your own 10 × 10 canopy.
YOUR CAMPSITE
Enjoy a large picnic table, a fire ring with benches, and additional chairs for relaxing together outdoors. Nearby parking accommodates approximately 3–4 vehicles. Bring your own tents and camping equipment.
RIVER ACCESS & EXPLORING
A trail from RF1 leads to a normally dry section of riverbed and a large island with shoreline along the river’s main branch. Our main beach and large swimming hole are a short walk away. River conditions vary with weather and water levels.
Explore nearby river access points on foot, by bike, or by car. The scenic forest road continues about 2.5 miles beyond the campground, with riverfront views along the way. About half a mile toward town, the Hendricks pedestrian suspension bridge crosses the river, with more swimming and tubing spots nearby.
GROUP SIZE
RF1 accommodates up to 12 campers total, including children. The base rate covers up to 8 guests; an additional nightly charge applies for each guest above 8. Groups larger than 12 must reserve additional nearby campsites or cabins.
IMPORTANT FLOOD NOTICE
RF1 is in the river floodplain and is subject to flooding and flash flooding, particularly during heavy rain, spring snowmelt, and tropical storms. The campsite may be closed when dangerous conditions are expected. If we close the site for this reason, you will be notified and your campsite fees refunded.
Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
